Dr. Michael Genetti is a Senior Consultant and Account manager for TMST. He is experienced in all facets of Capture and Business Development from identification and qualification through proposal development. He has performed those functions for multiple Defense Fortune 500 contractors. After over 25-years as a business developer, senior capture manager, and Executive, Mike is recognized throughout the Orlando Defense community.
As a Senior Business Manager, Mike led multiple successful efforts, including the multiple $1.1B Flight School XXI Simulation Services program and the AVCATT HMD Replacement Program among many others.
Besides being a senior capture and PTW manager, Mike’s former positions include various executive-level positions, including Senior Manager, systems and software engineer as well as serving in the US Army including commanding Aviation units and serving as Standardization Representative to the U.S. Army Research, Development, and Standardization Group (UK) during the UK’s Attack Helicopter Competition. Mike was instrumental in setting up a ride in a U.S. Army Apache Longbow helicopter for the Minister for Defense Procurement. This grounding in the defense industry provided an extraordinary depth of knowledge, enabling Mike’s superior performance as both a senior manager and a capture/business development executive.
A former Associate Professor of Engineering at the United States Military Academy, Dr. Genetti received his Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering from Stanford University. His previous education includes a Masters of Industrial Engineering from Auburn University and a Bachelor of Engineering from the USMA, West Point, NY. He has completed numerous industry courses in capture, business development, and proposal operations throughout his career.
