Rich McGovern is a consultant for TM&ST. Experienced in all facets of proposal support, specializing in Acquisition of training device support and operations.
Former positions include Supervisor of PEO STRI Field Operations Logistics Assistance Representatives. Contracting Officer Representative (COR) for PEO STRI Warfighter FOCUS contract. Lead Life Cycle Project Director for PEO STRI Tactical Engagement Simulation Training Devices. Lead Life Cycle Project Director for all PEO STRI Intelligence training devices and Communication training devices.
Rich’s operational credentials are based on over 35 years of experience with the Department of Army as a civilian. He served in a variety of positions to include, Maintenance Manager, Logistician, and Project Director.
Rich has participated in eight Department of Army source selections, five of these with PEO STRI in Orlando. His last assignment was with PEO STRI where he served as the Contracting Office Representative (COR) for the contract to provide operations, instructors, and support of training devices, simulations, Worldwide.
Rich received his Bachelor of Science degree from LaSalle University, Philadelphia, PA. He earned his Masters in Business Administration from Webster University, St. Louis, MO. Rich is also a graduate of the Army Material Command (AMC) Materiel Maintenance Management Program.
Rich has been recognized as TMST’s first Consultant of the Quarter for 4QCY17 for support of ATMP initiatives.
