Cris Boyd is a retired Infantry, Signal, and Army Acquisition Officer who has spent the last fourteen years working for companies that provide C5ISR solutions to the Department of Defense.
Cris previously oversaw customer relations for ElbitAmerica’s Army C4I sector, leveraging his extensive military and industry experience to enhance strategic partnerships and ensure solution offerings aligned with customer needs through a solid understanding of operations and requirements. He advanced the company’s solutions portfolio by applying expertise in DoD’s acquisition process, strategic planning, business development, and company programs to deliver cutting-edge technology solutions. Cris led advisement, mentorship, and counsel for strategic capture efforts within the scope of C5ISR activities. He led teams to respond to Requests for Information, Calls for Whitepapers, and Proposals..
Prior to his service at ElbitAmerica, Cris spent five years as a Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance contractor at the Program Executive Office Command, Control, Communications and Network (PEO C3N) where he played a lead and critical role in successfully developing the acquisition strategy that led to the establishment of a new Acquisition Category (ACAT) II Program of Record.
Cris served 10 years as an Infantry and Signal Officer before being accessed into the Army Acquisition Corps. He served as Product Manager for Network Operations and Project Manager for Tactical Radios and Command Posts. Cris deployed with the Fourth Infantry Division to Iraq in 2006, where he served as the C5ISR Trail Boss. Cris also served as the Proponent Officer for Program Managers at the Acquisition Support Center under ASA(ALT). He retired as the Deputy Chief of Staff of Operations for the Research, Development, and Engineering Command in 2012.
