Karen has over 35 years of experience in all facets of business management and operations. She most often supports TMST clients in proposal development and capture management.  She has an extensive inventory of skills, expertise, and experience supporting Government and civilian clients.

Karen has worked for several of the most prominent defense contractors in the Orlando marketplace providing IT support and simulation capabilities.  She supported programs providing crew trainers, enterprise IT support, production and lifecycle support for Army systems, entity and constructive simulations, and other training capabilities. Her projects were always characterized by exceptional success, adherence to schedule, excellent customer relations, errorless resource management and budget oversight.

She consistently provides Proposal, Capture, Volume, and Review Team management support for proposals, including Simulation and Training; Information Technology; Operations & Maintenance, and Logistics.  In addition, she has experience leading large grant application projects for the DOE and the EPA. She provides consulting services in business development, program management, and proposal management.  Services include direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments, and goals. Accomplished capabilities include:

  • Provides rigorous planning and management of the entire proposal lifecycle
  • Builds cohesive teams of subject matter experts, writers, teammates, graphic designers, editors, and production staff
  • Develops and manages win plans and schedules; ensures compliance; and develops approaches
  • Authors and/or directs the development of Executive Summaries; technical and Management Approaches; Past Performance; and Plans
  • Schedules, prepares, conducts, and participates in proposal reviews  “Color Reviews.”
