Katherine has extensive experience in Business Development, Program Management, and Acquisition initiatives. She has a deep understanding of the DoD acquisition process and maximizing capabilities to exceed program requirements (Financial, Operational, Technical, Compliance, and Reporting). She is particularly adept in developing campaign plans that are skillfully matched with requirements and exceed customer goals. Katherine has both Military and Government Civilian experience along with accomplished Corporate experience.
She’s supported contract opportunities valued at more than $1Billion. As an Account Manager for a major DoD contractor, Katherine was the primary corporate interface with key Army customer organizations at the PEO level, Army Futures Command, and related DoDx organizations. She has a mastery of all phases of the business acquisition process for Programs of Record (POR) and non-POR opportunities. Katherine is highly adept at identifying and supporting traditional and non-traditional acquisition initiatives.
As a Business Development Manager, Katherine employs expert skills in evaluating and providing competitive intelligence analysis to support capture activities. She uses an intuitive perception of what the customer is asking for to develop superior proposal responses. Her broad level of experience has resulted in an uncanny ability to “Know What Works” and how to convey that in winning business pursuits. She quickly ascertains critical proposal requirements from the customer perspective, matches those with optimal corporate capabilities, and articulates the solutions in winning proposals.
At the operational level, Katherine has seasoned experience in managing day-to-day Program Management requirements including planning/scheduling, configuration management, software development, hardware and networking, testing, fielding, and post-development software support. She has been highly successful at leveraging on-hand resources to support time-sensitive requirements.
Katherine has managed Program Budgets for multiple customers working on the same project. She employs outstanding risk mitigation strategies and always ensures program budgets and schedules are met. Her Program Management experience includes supporting both CONUS and OCONUS programs.
